Moulin Rouge in Sicily? Yeah we're like that ;)

This was the whole group of crazy friend that we went to Italy with. We drove around in a nine-seater van in Italy, not an easy feat. Thanks to Dave's incredible driving skills we made it through some crazy slim alleyways. This video is just a taste of fun that our group had over there.

Ok so I know that Dave and I have been TERRIBLE when it comes to blogging... and we even went to Italy and didn't put our pics on Facebook or anything! Oh and I took about 1600 pics so I'm not sure how to put those all on here. I decided to try out doing a collage of random pictures with our friends from our trip. Most of these pictures are in cities in Sicily like Erice (which is up on the mountain and pics of the castles), Taormina, Cefalu (the beach pictures) and oh wait- Pisa is in there too...hmmm. Like I said, we're pretty inexperienced when it comes to doing this thing so it might get better as it goes along. Bare with us ;) Click on the picture below to see them better.

Can You Believe It??

So, Kirst went to New York last week with some friends to watch some plays and sightsee. Last Friday I called her, and texted her several times, begging and pleading that she would go to wall street. Why you ask?? Well, last Friday topped an historic week for America and the economy. We haven't seen a move like this in the stock market since the depression. Friday looked to be the bottom (lets hope!) and I wanted her to be able to say to our grandchildren that she was there! She was more interested in gelato, and seeing Hermione Granger...then being part of history!, so I begged and pleaded and guess what???.....

SHE WENT! Can you believe it??

A New Member of the Family!

Ok, this has been a long time coming...but we got a puppy! Now I know there are some of you out there hoping that we would be bragging about a child instead of a puppy...but this cute face will have to do for now. We got her at the beginning of September, and quite truthfully, I am obsessed with her. Today I taught her to stand up, and lay down on command and was so proud. The best is when she runs after the cat. Now don't get me wrong, I really like our cat...but it's nice to see "Her Majesty" the all-gracious...get worked up and freaked out. Pretty good entertainment. In fact, here is a video of one of their fights.....
